SPECIAL FINISHES
Special finishes including blended metals, patterning and InOre marquetry are quoted on an individual project basis.
Other metal and wood combinations are be available on request.
InOre can be specified on engineered boards, please enquire for more details.
InOre is suitable for external use, particularly for cladding. External applications require a different wood substrate and are subject to additional costs.
TREATMENTS
InOre floors are made from real metal which if left untreated will age over time. For some this gradual aging process is the beauty of the product. The application of waxes or lacquers will prevent the aging process and maintain and protect the original finish.
Floors can be supplied untreated and waxed onsite by the installer if preferred. Waxes can be purchased directly from Seamless. Please enquire for more details.
SAMPLES
Samples are charged at £25 each (plus postage) and are refundable on return.
Samples are 265mm in length x board width.
Special order samples may be subject to additional charges.
MININUM ORDERS
There are no minimum orders, although orders under 10 square metres may be subject to a £50 surcharge.
LEAD TIMES
6 weeks from confirmation of order. Allow 8 weeks for orders over 100 square metres.
DELIVERY
Delivery charges will be quoted upon order.
TERMS
50% is payable upon order with the balance due prior to delivery.
COMMISSIONS
Seamless are very happy to work with clients to develop new ideas and finishes. This service may be subject to additional charges.
FITTING
Boards are supplied tongue and grooved. Fitting is as standard solid wood tongue and groove floors.
Metal specific blades should be used for cutting.
It is advised that gloves are worn to handle and fit untreated floors.
CARE
Untreated floors should be swept or vacuumed, and polished on a regular basis. Spillages should be mopped up immediately.
Waxed and lacquered floors can be damp-mopped using a mild detergent, dried thoroughly and buffed to a shine.
Electric floor buffers and polishers can be used on some InOre ranges. Please enquire for more information.
Dependent upon the level of foot traffic and the demands of the location, floors will need to be rewaxed or re-lacquered at intervals.
Seamless Industries offer a re-waxing and re-lacquering service quoted on an individual project basis.

IMPORTANT
Avoid contact with products containing acetone.
InOre is very durable and hard-wearing, however as with all hard floors take care not to drag heavy or sharp objects across the floor surface as this may cause scratches.
Untreated metal finishes including rust and verdigris may transfer onto other surfaces including skin and clothing. Seamless Industries advise the application of waxes and lacquers to prevent any such transfer of material and will not be responsible for any consequences.
ENVIRONMENT
InOre is made using only sustainable woods from renewable sources. The patented process involved in the application of the metal coating has received environmental awards applauding it's utilization of recycled materials.
